The Menifocal™ Z concentric bifocal design improves visual performance for both distance and near vision when compared with other lens designs-which do not adjust for increasing close up reading power.

Menifocal Z uses an innovative concentric bifocal design that delivers alternating vision, with a central distance vision segment connected to a near vision segment by a smooth transition zone.

The lens’ unique design varies the vision segments size depending on the add power needed. When the add power increases, the distance and transition segments decrease while the near vision segment increases.

This improves visual performance for both near and distance vision when compared with currently available alternating/concentric lens designs which do not adjust for increasing add power.

The Menifocal Z spherical base curve design makes the lens easy to fit and allows the correction of small to moderate astigmatism without inducing corneal molding.
