Menicon Appoints Remco Engelhart as Business Development Director Europe

Menicon Co. Ltd. Announced: Remco Engelhart has joined the company taking up the position of Business Development Director Europe.

He has over 25 year experience in contact lens industry.

Remco begins his new role effective January, 2017.

As mentioned, Remco Engelhart has a very good experience in contact lens business and market knowledge anywhere in Europe.

His career started 20 years ago with Bausch & Lomb. After that time, he was successfully involved in the construction of Sauflon. His responsibilities were Country Manager Benelux and European Key Account manager.  After the acquisition of Sauflon by the CooperVision Europe, he acted in Strategic Partner Account Team Europe. With his depth knowledge of contact lens business in Europe he wants to extend the Menicon-product portfolio, as well as the Menicon lens care products.

In addition, his core task will be to enhance the soft lenses sector with monthly and daily contact lenses.

His claim is: "to provide a complete portfolio of Menicon contact lens products to the ECPs with a strong customer relationship.
